Permitting New Experiences in Boston

BACKGROUND

After bringing the South End Open Market to Ink Block, we had another big idea for the Market: a Sunday SIP & SHOP experience (because who doesn’t love shopping handmade with mimosas in hand?). Working with community, the city and the areas elected officials, and licensing board, sharing our vision with others, and strategically partnering with Crash Line Productions — the brain child behind Boston Calling — KP Strategies was able to secure the necessary permitting for patrons of the Market to ‘SIP & SHOP’ throughout the fenced in market on Travelers Street.

RESULTS

The South End Open Market has officially added a new feature that’s sure to be a hit among patrons of a certain age: For the first time ever, you can sip on beer or wine while perusing the site’s many vendors, effectively making the lot on Traveler Street between Harrison Avenue and Washington Street Boston’s newest, and biggest, beer garden.
