Nearly 20 years after first entering the Greater Boston restaurant world, the JP Fuji Group continues to build its empire and will extend the realm next month with the addition of its newest restaurant in the South End.

Fuji at Ink Block will grandly open on August 3, sailing a full fleet of sushi boats into the area, along with plenty of other fine Asian fare, including Sichuan entrees, soups and salads, dumplings, fried rice, noodles, and much more.

Jimmy Liang and Peter Tse started the Fuji Group in Quincy when they were 19 years old, and over the years they’ve amassed nine restaurants in the area, with the help of with business partners John Liang and Tony Liang. Fuji at Ink Block will be number 10 — and the fourth location of the Fuji concept, which also has outposts in Quincy, Kendall Square, and Somerville’s Assembly Row. The group will also open a fifth Fuji at the West of Chestnut development in Quincy.

Fuji at Ink Block will be open at 352B Harrison Ave. from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Sunday.

Correction: This article has been updated to reflect that there are already four locations of the Fuji concept, not three as previously stated, making Ink Block the fourth and West of Chestnut the fifth. Also, the restaurant has pushed the opening date from August 1 to August 3, and the headline and article have been updated accordingly.
